PEEPTOE SHOES opened their first Melbourne store several weeks ago on little Collins Street, in the tres fashionable area between Swanston and Elizabeth Street, Melbourne City.  The store is gorgeous. I want just about everything in it - seriously!  Full of 'To die for' shoes,  fabulous handbags, jewellery and accessories. I was genuinely taken aback.

The staff are lovely.  Not pushy, yet inspired and knowledgable - what a relief.

This innovative company launched by Sydney based designer Nikki Hager, used her extensive design and retail experience to satisfy women’s needs, with original, wearable and fabulous footwear. “From the very beginning, stilettos have always been my absolute passion,” says Nikki. “I love the way a pair of stilettos can change a woman’s behaviour and elongate her physique.”

You will find all the strong basic colours, along with the new seasons hottest colours....

While Nikki focuses on strong designs, she does not neglect quality. Peeptoe shoes and accessories are all handmade.  The quality is top notch and the prices are extremely reasonable.

SHOE ALERT...If you wear heels..... NOW is the best time to buy a pair of Beige/Natural/Flesh coloured 'Extra-High' heeled pumps.  These are a wardrobe staple - just look at all the Hollywood stars if you need confirmation.  They elongate the leg and go with everything.  They come in matte or patent leather, along with suede for a slightly softer, yet full finish.  Be careful of suede in this colouring - it stains so easily - one drop of coffee, oil, wine or even water and they're not the shoes you loved a minute ago!
