Hi
I hope ur feeling fab and life is good.
I had a lovely time away, worked on myself and feel incredibly rested and healthy. My time away inspired me to take much better care of myself. I believe if I am looking after me I am much more able to be of service to others. I will blog about 'Pass it On' soon.
Take some time to self nurture and look after yourself. It helps in so many areas of your life. So don't be a Martyr - start looking after you.
Some ideas for self nurturing:
* Affirmations - Check out http://www.goddess.com.au/ , http://www.drwaynedyer.com/affirmations/ or www.louisehay.com/affirmations or google and find your own favourites.
All of these guys have released affirmation cards which you can buy on line or at those cool spiritual shops which I love to potter around. A local of mine where you can relax and enjoy something at their little cafe is www.shatavari.com.au - 743 Glen Huntly Road, Caulfield South.
Write down your affirmations in your journal. Stick them on the mirror or fridge. Change them each week. Here is one from Dr Wayne Dyer from Sunday 3 April, which is particularly good for me.
* Touch - Touch is paramount to our wellness - whether it be a hug or a massage, it is healing. Treat yourself to a massage. If you are low on cash - get a student massage - try http://www.sagemassage.com.au/ for a $20 hour massage. I love Thai Massage and Hot Stone Massage. It's so good when they really get their fingers into your back.
* Journaling - Buy a lovely journal.. Kikki K has gorgeous Journals or a yummy coloured hardback Spirax Notebook and use it to write about your day, your feelings good and bad, be totally honest. Put down your goals and dreams. And most of all tell yourself that you are Beautiful. I have a journal and I write down everything. It is so carthartic. I stick pictures/quotes/even leaves and flowers in mine. Remember to write down your affirmations in your journal. I personally love writing them in coloured texta like a big kid :)
* Pedicure - MY FAVOURITE! If I am ever in need of some looking after, a Pedicure is my favourite thing! I have been going to my local Nail Specialist 'So Cue' in Elwood (03) 9531 0865
for the past year and a half. Kim and her staff are so lovely and professional. From Monday to Wednesday you can get a Mani and Pedi for $35. The feet hold us up all day and / or night - it is the least we can do to look after them.
*Excercise!! YES it is total self love to exercise. It could be a good 30 minute power walk OR a 2 hour session at the gym. It doesn't matter - just get moving. The way to make yourself feel more alive and happy is to exercise. Get those Endorphines going.
* A lovely Bath - I don't do this enough. Pop a few drops of essential oils in the water, like patchouli, ylang ylang and lavender. Or if you need help with aches and pains (or just want a good sleep) try Epsom Salts - they are amazing! Pop some candles on and some music, lay back and love yourself. After the bath slther yourself in beautiful moisturiser. L'tyia make a beautiful one or use organic Coconut Oil (from any health store)
NOTE: Ensure the bath is not Hot. It is not good for you, your skin or sleep.
* Meditation - YES I KNOW some people find it difficult but thats because we think we need to be perfect at it! I'M NOT but I love doing it.
I hope ur feeling fab and life is good.

What other people think of me is none of my business.
One of the highest places you can get to is being independent of the good opinions of other people.
