I hope you Wednesday has been delightful and if not - take heart! There is something you can do to make you feel better within your self. BUT IT'S A SECRET!
Pay it forward.
You may have seen the movie. Pay it forward is about giving something to someone, something to help without them knowing you or your involvement.
It is an act of love and humility. Here are a a number of ideas in which you could pay it forward:
1. Leave a copy of a great book or magazine you have read at a cafe for someone else to read.
2. Put a dollar or 50 cents in someone's parking meter.
3. Give Blood.
4. Offer to babysit for a single mother or father.
5. Let someone cut in front of you at the supermarket :)
6. Hold the door open for someone.
7. Make a donation.
8. Compliment a stranger.
9. Say a prayer or whisper a kind wish for someone.
10. Give someone a chance to prove themselves to you.
11. Show respect to a soldier regardless of your pacifism.
12. Always offer Tradies, Removalists, Gardeners, Cleaners etc a glass of cold water or soft drink throughout the day.
There hundreds more - but I'll let you think about them. Please let me know what you come up with.
