BRONZED BEAUTY...Learn how to bronze naturally - like Lara, Jen and Jodhi!

Hi Lovely People

I hope you're having a beautiful weekend..

I couldn't wait to get onto my computer and let you know about making yourself feel better by being BRONZED - just a little.

Darling Lara Bingle..bronzed beauty,

I don't know about you but my Tan has faded and I am looking a little lack lustre - possibly sallow!! Eewww

I have pretty good skin but it's definitely not that of an English Rose.  I love that beautiful porcelain skin and especially fresh youthful skin which has a natural glow - I would seriously doubt you guys need bronzer!

Jodhi Meares - and a little bronzer - what a spunk!

So, unless you are lucky enough to be hitting a hot tropical destination in the near future, then have a look at making your complexion look a lot more inviting with a little Bronzer.

I adore Lara Bingle's and Jen Hawkin's Makeup - it's just beautiful.  Although it does help to look like these lovelies too :)

BTW...I think Lara is gorgeous and I admire her strength and courage.  I know... I made plenty of mistakes when I was 23, let alone today!  To get through all that vile press while still mourning her father's death and her breakup (whether it was her or not) was inspiring.  Go Girl GO!  Back to Bronzer.....

NEWS FLASH!!!!

M.A.C are starting classes on how to Bronze.

Call any of the M.A.C stores in Australia and they can book you in for a make over for $95 - all of which is redeemable on product.  So, take in a pic of your fave Bronze Look or just talk to your consultant about what you like. Remember less is more!  ALSO remember you don't need everything - if you are on a budget the $95 will cover your base products and you can add from there later i.e. You can say NO to extra product!

M.A.C Chapel St, South Yarra (and possibly the other M.A.C PRO stores nationally) have a special night - 'MODERN BRONZE' which specifically teaches all the new techniques of natural bronzing and night time bronzing.  Sounds great. I am hoping to be there....

Thursday 23 June. From 7 - 9pm call (03)98250100 or email Maconchapel@bigpond.com.au
It is $120 with Champagne and nibbles.  All of which is redeemable on product - yaaaay!

M.A.C say 'Bronzing is heading in a new direction are you ready? Caramels, Toffees and Creamy Chocolate Hues are here to warm up your winter! It's Bronze in a way you've never seen it before!

LAST BUT BEST - MY TOP 3 Bronzers:
M.A.C - Give me Sun - Mineral Bronzer

TOTALLY SOLD OUT IN AUSTRALIA! It is the best Bronzer I have ever tryed! It's Matt and Natural Mineral, yet throws beautiful Light off the cheeks and face. It doesn't make me look old, tired or overly tanned (unless I need my eyes checked:).  No wonder it sold out.  I am on the waiting list after trying it two times!
SHOULD BE BACK IN STOCK WITHIN THE NEXT WEEK OR SO.  I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE BACK IN STOCK.

BENEFIT - Hoola

This has a lovely natural feel.  I accosted a girl in a shop today,  to ask her what she had on her face, because I am crazy about lovely skin tone and bronzer's at the moment. Her answer "not much, a little foundation and Hoola Bronzer by Benefit on my cheeks, temples and neckline".  She looked incredibly fresh and natural.  Most people would never know she had make up on.

It is one of their best sellers - and I can see why - she looked radiant!

NARS - Bronzer

'Diffused powder with golden shimmer to create an all-over warmth and contour for the entire face. Nars' Bronzing Powder creates a natural looking glow which enhances or creates the look of naturally tanned skin. It also fills in lines and pores for smoother looking skin while the subtle shimmer adds glow. Has an imperceptible finish ideal for all skin tones.'

That is their take.  Apparently it's one of the best SELLING Bronzers on the market.

WRAP UP

I loved NARS, however M.A.C - GIVE ME SUN is my fave.  I haven't personally tryed Benefit, so I cannot comment.

Even Jen gets Made up .... actually Bronzed UP!

Jodhi and Elle - looking quite bronzed!

LAST WORD

PLEASE DO NOT OVERLOAD  ON BRONZER!  THIS WHOLE ARTICLE IS MEANT TO HIGHLIGHT YOU, NOT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A CRAZY TANNED IDIOT.
IF YOU ARE NOT SURE, ASK A FRIEND WHO YOU TRUST.

Otherwise, ask me at jo@styleincorporated.com.au

THE FASHION POLICE HAVE SPOKEN!!! Women and leggings?????

Hi there Lovely People

After much discussion with one of my best friends, Kini. I felt the need to re address the BASICS story from the 16th of May.  My very funny and beautiful (fashion police) friend was concerned that I did not convey who should and should not wear leggings.  I think she had a good point.

I need to - as a professional stylist, set some guidelines. The body shapes that love leggings and the shapes which need to stay (right) away from Leggings.

PLEASE NOTE:  I don't think Kini will totally agree with my opinion and I am looking forward to hearing her feedback.  So here we go.....

HOW TO WEAR LEGGINGS

As per my article - YOU MUST LAYER!!!! And the layers must but long, as per this pic.....

The photo above gives a fantastic representation of how to wear Leggings. I love this look AND I would also Love it with a soft, floaty, sheer long shirt/top (maybe in Silk).  Remember - Great Bag and Great Boots (Not high) are your staples.

With this look you could:
1. Layer with a lovely light weight Cardigan and a Long Line Structured Jacket.
2. Pop on a fantastic Belt and Structured Blazer - with Flat boots.
3. Pop on an Over sized long knit (there are some Beautiful Long knits around) and again make sure the boots are flat - well not totally flat but with a 1.5 - 2cm stacked heel.
4.  Put on a long fitted (not skin tight) jersey top (Country Road and Seed) over your leggings and layer with a Cardi, Blazer OR both.
5.  Do not wear high heeled long boots with leggings - YUCKY!!!! Potato On Toothpicks!!!!
6. There are many more options but I can't give away all my secrets :)..................

WHO SHOULD WEAR LEGGINGS?

I shouldn't preach about who should wear what. It's not until I have met my clients in the flesh - that I really know what suits them.  However, I can give you some guidelines:

It is best for some body shapes NOT to wear Leggings at all!  I believe you need to...

* Preferably have very slim, slim, athletic, average to slightly average legs.
* Be preferably above 5.2"
* V Small, Small, Athletic to Average Thighs.
* They are generally not so good on gals who have Saddle Bags, Heavy Thighs, Big Thighs, Big Calves and Cankles.  HOWEVER.. that is not always the way.....YOU may have small thighs and cankles - so leggings would look sensational with boots!

AGE

I don't think there is a cut off point for leggings.  It's about making them work as a canvas for your Layering - so long as you fall into the group that can wear them in the first place.  Especially if you are one of those slim older ladies.  You can look very smart in leggings!

AWESOME - wish I could...
The only way you can wear a legging with a short top and look sensational is if you are KATE MOSS or another super model!!!!  See Miss Moss below....

WEAR this if you are incredibly Long, Lean and Gorgeous.

So Bottom Line is DON'T WEAR leggings with SHORT TOPS unless you look like the girl above!!!

If you don't want or can't afford professional advice - ask you best friend or someone you know you can trust.  You will be happier in your own body - I promise!

Love and Light

BEAUTIFUL JEWELLERY by A BEAUTIFUL GIRL - You are going to LOVE this stuff.....

Hello Lovely People

I hope you had a fantastic weekend!

I caught up with Jewellery Designer and well known Model - ANN-MAREE COOKSLEY last week.  She is such a sweetheart. How can someone be so lovely, chatty, interesting, creative,  funny and Gorgeous looking at the same time? :) Love starting the week with something yummy and new....

I met Ann-Maree years ago. The last time we spoke, she told me she was designing jewellery.  I had a chance to see a few pics and samples recently and thought wow, it's time I investigated the WHOLE COLLECTION!

The range is BEAUTIFUL!

The workmanship is exquisite. All the pieces are handmade by Ann Maree herself - YES! She actually hand beads those bracelets!

All pieces come packaged in a lovely little, black organza bag with branded ribbon ties.

THE QUALITY

Top grade 100%Sterling Silver is used for all pieces. For the GOLD styles, Ann-Maree uses 100% solid gold coating on the Sterling Silver.  She would love to work with pure gold - but it's just too expensive.  BTW.... the Gold Coating wears extremely well (Ann-Marie own bracelets looked fab). I love all the gold bracelets bunched together - it is such a gorgeous point of difference from the silver look.  Although, I do Love the silver too.

I love the whole collection - it was really difficult to choose my favourite piece.  I went with the Hoop Earrings with a gorgeous love symbol.  You can have any symbol or shape you like.  I think I'll get one of the Bracelets with the tassels next and start a collection.  Mmmmmm...

THE CAMPAIGN SHOTS

Ann-Maree shot her own campaign, while she was on holiday in the Whitsunday Islands, off the Queensland coast of Australia. I'm was really impressed.  It's beachy, fresh and sexy! She is such a beach girl.  Just like me.

The photographs show the product in a beautiful clear light.  And (obviously) Ann-Maree is such a spunk.  I love it....

HOW TO BUY

The collection can be bought Via Ann-Maree's Website. Prices start at $45. The prices are very reasonable for the quality.

Contact Ann-Maree at http://www.annmareecooksley.com/ - you can download the brochure and contact her directly.  She is happy to ship to anywhere in the world - obviously with a freight charge.  But as the pieces are small, the freight charges are generally pretty good.
Check it out for yourself or for someone you love - you won't be disappointed!  I have been asked by 6 people where I got my Earrings from since last Friday!

For any further info contact me directly at http://www.styleincorporated.com.au/  I am happy to let you know, I will have my STYLE incorporated Facebook page set up by tomorrow  - so expect an invitation :)
I look forward to your feedback...

Love

JODPHURS and RIDING BREECHES....HOT HOT HOT..look at Reese and the places to buy them...

Hi Lovely People - how are you ???

I'm a little tired but loving my job and getting lovely feedback from my Blog and Website - Thank you so, so much.  It's so great to be getting a lovely client base - I'm wrapped!

SO.... I am stuck on Riding Breeches and Jodphurs! I have been forever, due to my love of horses and horse riding.  However, from a fashion point of view - I have always seen them as Elegant!  They seem quite royal, rich, even theatrical.  Most of all they are so great as a legging. They substitute as a thicker legging and hold you in that little bit more.  You can also buy the distinct Riding styles which have the knee patches.  I love these.  AND BEST OF ALL, if you want to do the Reese Witherspoon/Christoph Waltz look (which I LOVE) then you can...

To BUY: Go to your local Saddlery and support them.  It could be Horseland - they also have a great website.  Otherwise, just GOOGLE: Jodphurs OR riding breeches, and a plethora of e-stores will be at your finger tips.

I love touching the fabrics and seeing things on the body etc.  So maybe looking for a pair of Joddy's might get you out to the local saddlery and supporting Equine industry - which is great. To look hot, team your joddys with a beautiful soft blouse, leather jacket and long boots OR go all rock chick and punk it out a bit.  You know what you like.
Here are a pair from Horseland - very cute...love the boots too!

In this shot both Christoph and Robert are in Jodphurs/Breeches....  YUM...

Let me know what you think.  And if you haven't given Horses a try, have a think about that too.  They are the most beautiful creatures and it might be time for a horsey experience.

Have a great night

Soooo SORRY I FORGOT the HOT SHOT...this is the look Boys..sans cigarette!

Robert Pattinson - smokin HOT!

xxx

Water For Elephants - has bought back one of the most beautiful looks for Fashion

Hi Everyone

I took myself to see WATER FOR ELEPHANTS last Friday afternoon. And WOW what a GORGEOUS movie....

What really stood out for me was how BEAUTIFUL it was.  Not only the Movie Stars: Reece Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson and Christopher Waltz, but the Costumes, they were SUPERB!!!  I have not seen Reece Witherspoon look so Amazing in any movie or red carpet event as she looked in this movie.

Seriously girls and guys - if you need a little inspiration for formal wear see this movie.

The wonder woman responsible is Costume Designer Jacqueline West who was also responsible for The curious case of Benjamin Button, amongst others.  Here she is with the gorgeous Robert Pattinson.....

Reese Witherspoon is rumoured to have taken home most of her fabulous gowns and dresses as well as at least one of her circus performers outfits - I don't blame her - she looked incredible (tiny). Robert Pattinson is also rumoured to have walked off the set with his leather jacket, the one that he is seen in when he jumps off of the train.

Water for Elephant's costume designer Jacqueline West, along with Reese Witherspoon and the male cast are bringing back Riding Breeches/Jodphurs in a big way.  Reese looks amazing - check out the scarf and bangles....

Time to get into .... Jodphurs and Riding Breeches I say :)

Check out the Embellishment and Design of her costume...I love the GREY...so different and beautiful. Embellishment is supposedly making a big comeback - although it will probably take 6 months to hit us.

SILK and Leather.... Love the Jacket Rob.

BOYS... this look is hot! Obviously, you would do the 2011 version...

ROSIE THE ELEPHANT is the most Beautiful Girl.

There are so, so, so many images from this movie that are Beautiful.  I haven't given the story line away by showing these - so go see it.  It's beautiful.

Bon Nuit

BASICS! FYI...WITCHERY HAS 30% OFF FULL PRICE TIL 22 MAY. GO FOR IT!!!!

Hi and welcome to Winter - YES IT'S REALLY HERE! Bugger .... but don't fret, get your basics and enjoy Winter Dressing.  It's so much more exciting.....

Kate Moss
I Love the way K Moss works her Opaques (I would say 80 0r 90 denier)
Hopefully u have purchased your Winter Boots or like KATE your Sky High Heels?

Before anything works and you can look totally POLISHED, you must have your BASICS.  That is -your Tanks, Leggings and Hosiery! These pieces need to be BLACK, not white or nude, Black! Got IT?!

Then work on the canvas from there.

FOR TANKS

Stock up on a few COUNTRY ROAD shoe string and/or wide strap tanks in the Nylon/Elastane mix. CR's shoe string tank is my fave but I have a small Bust.  So if you are larger in the Bust you may find the wider strap Tank is best for you.  My recent client is a good C cup, bought a couple of each.  Try them on and ensure you don't go TOO SMALL it will only accentuates any lumps, bumps or rolls. If in doubt go for the larger size.

Wool Blend Camisole

Don't go for the cotton/elastane version - which everyone from Cotton On to Supre stock.  The 93% NYLON/ 7% ELASTANE Mix is brilliant.  They keep their colour and shape.  They look so much more sophisticated underneath sheer tops, low necklines or anything really.

WITCHERY's (Intimates range) version is just as good, it's just a little long for me, BUT if you need a little extra length, go for Witchery's version.  They are a similar content to CR and they all wash up beautifully.  They last for ages and give you that extra bit of warmth you need in Winter.  I wear mine nearly every day (yes, I have a few).  These Tanks are the most used item in my wardrobe for both Summer and Winter - I don't know what I would do without them!

WITCHERY LEGGINGS - R THE BEST! 92% cotton 8% elastane - These little babies hold you in and feel like you could wear them like pants - BUT DON'T ever wear them as pants, showing your crotch area!! I am sure you may have heard the term Camel's Toe!  Well that's what it is, and it's dreadful.

DO WEAR LEGGINGS with long layered Tops, Shirts AND Knits.  Add a Jacket or Coat over the top.  And remember to mix colours and textures.  Then pop on your HOT new flat Winter Boots, a cool scarf, hat and you are ready to rock.

Long Length LeggingJust an example of Easy Legging Wear from WITCHERY.

OPAQUE STOCKINGS

Another Winter staple.  I love my Opaques and that they make my legs look thinner.  Although, this year I don't think we need to go too heavy.  I think it's time to mix up the Deniers (Thickness) of our Hosiery depending on what you're wearing.

For a great 90 Denier (Very Thick and Black) try Witchery - they are great.  Country Road do a great Basic Opaque too.

I would also suggest going to Myer or DJ's Hosiery department and chatting to the gals there.  They generally know their Deniers, Quality and can work within your budget.  I personally love Levante.  But there are so many brands and these days the cheaper option - can be a good one! I still love those Airport Support Pantyhose - they are fantastic.  They hold you in like no other, and they are they are reasonably dark without being Opaque.  Good for an Evening function.

That's enough for tonight - have a lovely evening and enjoy Brothers and Sisters!  Oh and PS. Country Road have a Members sale on this week - what a perfect time to buy your basics...

Love ya

ASOS!..I never thought I would shop Online...BUT THIS SITE IS AWESOME!

Hello lovely readers,

Wake up call....I need to be open to everything, even Online Shopping!  I am so touchy, feely with Fashion.  I love shopping at Retail stores. Especially as I am out there with clients - Shopping!  I really love seeing, feeling and working with different styles - something you (definitely) cannot do Online.

However, you can get a lot for your buck and find a style that you have been looking for on this fabulous website: www.asos.com .  It's has every bit of info you need.  And why not cash in on the Aussie dollar at the moment.

ASOS Background

Is the UK's largest fashion/beauty online store.  ASOS was established in June 2000 by CEO Nick Robertson.  He started with 3 employees and now has over 1000 employees.  The company has won many awards and gets around 8.3 million visitors to their site per month (from all over the world)  The Head office is located in Camden Town, London UK.

ABOUT

It's the UK High Street at its best - think Top Shop, Zara or River Island.  Yet, they also stock major Designer and Designer diffusion labels, for example... SEE by Chloe, PAUL by Paul Smith, twentyeight 12 (Sienna Miller's joint label with her sister), Mui Mui, Armani Emporio, Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen and many more.

You can shop by celebrity look, designer or budget. The price range for dresses starts at just 10 pounds - which comes to $18.03 AUD (today).  And the best bit is...SHIPMENT IS FREE!

WRAP UP

GO FOR IT! Why not?  If you know what you're looking for, what suits you and your correct size,  then this website is definitely for you.

I think I will order a pair of Wide Leg Pants from ASOS.  So, I'll let you know how it all goes and if they are worth it.  The pair I am looking at are ASOS home brand so that could give us a good idea of the product.  Here are my favourite two pairs:

ASOS Linen Tab Detail Wide Leg Trouser

ASOS Linen Wide Leg Trousers With Tie Belt

I will be doing a write up about wide leg pants very soon.  I LOVE THEM.  But they are not for everyone.

Happy Shopping (or at least surfing) and snuggle in....

HAIRLARIOUS! At what age 'should' I cut my hair??? The great DEBATE!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday

My theme for tonight is something most women (and men) think about whether its about themselves or their mothers, friends, aunties, celebrities and even grandmothers......

WHEN ARE YOU TOO OLD TO HAVE LONG HAIR?

It all started when one of my best friend's - Kini, told me she was thinking of growing her hair back to a bob from her current short, boyish, crop cut. Mind you, she could be bald and still look amazing. She has already let her hair go grey and (yeah) she looks hot!
Kini was concerned about having a GREY Bob!  I said, firstly she would look good in anything and secondly that supermodel Kirsten McMenamy stopped colouring her hair years ago and has featured on two Vogue Covers (let alone editorial) this year, at the age of 46!  Here she is....

Okay, so we are not all Supermodels! But she is definitely putting Grey out there - I love it!

Kini and I discussed....The worst thing is, when you are passing someone, and from behind their hair looks glorious and youthful BUT when you get to the front, the face is old and craggy - it can be such a disappointment.

'Is it my problem or theirs'? MMmmmmm....

HAIRDRESSER'S OPINION

Funnily enough, I was having my colour done today by the fabulous Paula Mansfield (she has been doing my hair for over 10 years and I love her work - please email me for her number).  So, I ask her advice, what does she think? I wanted to nail her on what is right or wrong.  Guess what, there is no right or wrong but there are definitely opinions.

What we got down to was... if you're over 40 (or even a little younger) and you have a  face which is showing signs of age and your hair is not lustrous then CUT IT!  And it doesn't need to be short - it could be a layered shoulder length style. YOU WILL NOT LOOK POLISHED UNLESS YOU DO!

HUGELY  IMPORTANT is that your hair COLOUR suits you.  For instance, I realised about two years ago I couldn't do the Nordic Blonde anymore, it just showed up every defect in my face.  I need warmth and texture.  I am so much happier now.
Look at Trinny and Susannah, they keep their hair at a good length - which is still longish and pretty but not channeling a schoolgirl.  They also keep it well maintained and are able to make sure it looks good for any occasion.

WOMEN who are THEIR HAIR...

After speaking with Becca this evening I realised that it is all up to the individual.  Becca offered (as reference) the fabulous Grace Coddington (fashion Director VOGUE USA) - her Hair is her Signature! It's a thick wild mane of Red Hair...

Now....

In 1962..

I guess what it all boils down to, is being aware of what suits you and what doesn't.  Don't stay stuck in an era.  Long hair can drag you down and short hair can give you grace.

IF YOU ARE NOT SURE... ask your hairdresser, best friend or stylist what they honestly think about your hair, Honestly!

For more details about my colourist - Paula Mansfield, please shoot me an email. Paula works privately from home.  Her prices are very reasonable and her skill is EXCELLENT!

Looking forward to hearing your comments

THIS IS THE BEST MASCARA....REVLON GrowLuscious™ Mascara by Fabulash®

Okay, it's the day before Mothers Day.  If you are looking for a last minute gift, why not go directly to Myer and buy this fantastic mascara, 1 for you and 1 for your MUM.  You will then receive a gorgeous gift which you can also give to your Mum.  You need to spend $39.95 to get the gift worth $120.  I am not always sold on 'Gift with purchase', but this is a winner! The mascara retails at $21.95.

THE PLUG
Revlon GrowLuscious™ Mascara by Fabulash® is supposed to enhance, lengthen and add volume to lashes, while helping them to grow stronger with each use. The mascara’s unique formula supposedly helps to condition and strengthen lashes and complements the natural growth cycle by helping to prevent premature breakage.

MY PLUG
Well, I don't know if it does all of the above but what I can tell you is: I have been using GrowLuscious all week and I love it.  It has a fantastic, fat, bristled brush which makes my lashes look full and long - I had a number of compliments.  And the best thing is - it doesn't make your eyelashes all stiff.  They remain soft - so you can reapply at the end of the day. I bought the NON Waterproof so I can't comment on the Waterproof version.   Best of all it's half the price of Dior or Lancome which I would usually wear.  These brands make great mascaras but I truly believe this is every bit as good (if not better).

NOTE: After more research.  Apparently, GrowLuscious is not good for people with very small eyes - the brush is too big and becomes more of a weapon than a beauty tool.

Wishing all of you beautiful Mothers out there a Very Special and Happy Day for tomorrow.
Happy Mothers Day Mum,
Love
Joey

HOW TO LOOK LIKE A MILLION BUCKS on a BUDGET!

Hi Everyone

Hope you've all had a really great day?

I've had a great day.  I spent the afternoon with my dear friend/client Katy, doing Chapel Street.  BTW, I had already been through Katy's wardrobe with her and ascertained what she needed to look hot on any given occasion!  It could be picking up her little girl (Eve) from School, casual work meetings, corporate meetings or a fab night out.  I also had assessed her Body Shape, so I knew exactly what would suit her. And what would work back with her current wardrobe.

FYI...Katy has her own cleaning business which she started from scratch.   She is a beautiful person and such a go getter.  Her business is GREEN ELVES Chemical Free Cleaning.  She supplies fantastic plant based cleaning products, micro fibre clothes and good, trustworthy cleaners.  So if you're in the market for a cleaner give her a buzz for a free quote, she's a gorgeous girl.  Phone: 0412976216, email  info@greenelves.com.au or check out her website http://www.greenelves.com.au/

Now that's enough of that :) I want to talk about fashion.....

STICKING TO YOUR BUDGET and LOOKING A MILLION DOLLARS!

Let's face it, most of us cannot afford to buy a full wardrobe of Prada, Gucci or even Scanlan & Theodore.  So as much as we might wish to be a trillionaire, we need to face facts and stick to a budget.

So how do we look a million dollars but spend only $1000 - 1500 on our winter wardrobe?? I truly believe the key is to have the following staples:

1.  A beautiful black Leather Handbag.  Reasonably structured - not too sack like.
2.  A pair of gorgeous mid to long (depending on your height), Black, Riding (style) Boots.  We got Katy's at Wittner for $250 - stunning!
3.  A beautiful black Jacket.  It could be a tailored suit style from Cue ( I love their double breasted style) or Country Road (with fabulous long lapels - very YSL).  Or maybe a beautiful black Leather Jacket from Scanlan & Theodore (which Katy purchased - delicious, versatile and just a god send in you wardrobe).  It all depends on your shape.

It's worth spending extra on these pieces - I promise! These are the pieces which make you look a million bucks!

Once you have these pieces you can build everyday outfits for winter.

To stay within budget, buy your tops, shirts and knits from places like Sportsgirl, Witchery, Country Road,  DeCjuba, French Connection, Sussan, Cotton On etc.  Beware of going too cheap as it can be such crappy fabric that it will turn to shit after one wash.

Katy doing her Pretty Woman imitation - 'Big mistake....really BIG Mistake!' I love that line soooo much....

POLISHED!

Once you have the wardrobe, to make sure you look RICH :) you need to have:

- Great Hair - a good cut and a lovely colour which really bring out your best features.  I personally love long hair so when if you think it suits you then keep it.  Tell the Hairdresser what your idea of a Trim is - not theirs!

- Natural Make Up - I hate heavy make up but I do believe that a little can go a long way in making you look beautiful.  Many of us are far too pale or far too tanned.  There is a lovely happy medium for all skin types.  Ways to make you look really beautiful - to accentuate your beauty.
If you are unsure about makeup, what suits you and how to put it on, go to MECCA and specifically ask them if they will do your face with a natural look that highlights your best features.  And you do not want heavy foundation or eyeshadow.  NOTE: Obviously if you are going out, smokey eyes or bold lips are hot - not both together though!
Don't feel compelled to buy everything they use on you. Don't be ashamed to tell them you are on a budget - most of us are!  They will often give you a take home sample of products to try, especially if you are buying something - just ask them.  That's why it's a pleasure to shop there, you are never forced, pushed or made to feel uncomfortable.  I wear the Chantecaille Foundation which is sold at Mecca - it's so beautiful.
For your nearest store go to: http://www.meccacosmetica.com.au/

- Nails - YES I have mentioned this before and I am naughty myself.  Time just gets away from us but manicured Nails and Toenails are Key to looking Polished.  I go down the road to 'So Cue' in Elwood.  Kim and her girls are gorgeous.  But it doesn't matter where you go or if you are talented enough to do it yourself.  Just do it - coz it's worth it.
By the way short to medium length nails are the way to go - no 80's Talons please!!!!!

I've got loads more to tell you but I'll save it.  Hope you enjoyed tonight's blog and got something out of it.  If you need any help with your wardrobe, shape, shopping or styling just give me a buzz on 0422269439 for a free quote.  Or visit http://www.styleincorporated.com.au/

Have a beautiful night,
